Riverside Motel

Came across the Riverside motel, in Eminence, with no plan, by chance, late in the afternoon. What an absolute delight. The rooms were spotless. You can smell the clean the minute you walk in the door. Definitely A step above. 100% recommend, 5 out of five

Great location! But... Our bathroom sink wouldn't drain we informed the front desk and she handed us baking soda and vinegar... she expected us to fix the sink. Then They only give you a key to the handle to lock your room. We were told they don't have the keys to the deadbolt! So your room isn't safe when you're gone. Anyone can enter your room with a butter knife or credit card. Forget a nice shower... It randomly changes temp from burning hot to freezing cold without touching the knobs. And water pressure is nonexistent.

Stayed one night in this cute stagecoach. When I called to book I was looking for a unique stay. The person I spoke to was very upfront on how small this property was however I am in love with tiny houses and had already prepared myself for the space. I appreciated the honesty from the person telling me about the true size of the place no surprises when arriving. Its cute, clean, and perfect for a couple nights of tiny living. The shower was larger than expected and the bed was VERY comfortable. Would stay here again!!! Loved everything about the idea.

The rooms smell damp and moldy, in the dry cold winter. There is only one thin blanket on the bed, when the temperature is below 32 outside, I had to put on all i got plus cranking up the window unit heater which only blows into the sitting room, not directly into the bedroom. I foze my behind off, obviously could not have a good night sleep. Supposedly the front desk lady should ask me whether I need extra blanket but she didn't and by the time I went to sleep and found out, it was too late.

Vintage mom and pop road side motel..but the location is excellent. Walking distance for food and shopping. Room was very clean. Community Fire pit on 1 end, ice machine for $2 a bag on the other. Only 1 chair per room out front...no grill. Pool didnt look open. Biggest downfall is the shower. It goes from super hot to ice cold without touching the handles and the water pressure is a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale. Highly recommend taking a camping shower or spray bottle..if you have long hair..good luck. The office help is friendly and the trash man didnt steer us wrong when we askef for our options for eating locally. It did appear some of the info in the hotel folder was outdated so glad we asked him. Overall i would stay there again for a weekend. Price is reasonable.
