Just got back from a stay at Riverside Lodge & Cabins in Red River and I can’t say enough good things about it! The cabins are super cozy, clean, and well taken care of, with just the right mix of comfort and that mountain lodge vibe. Waking up right on the river was amazing—coffee in hand, sitting outside listening to the water, it doesn’t get much better than that. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, the kind of people who make you feel at home right away. They had great tips on places to eat and things to do around town too, which was really helpful. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to everything in Red River, but still tucked away enough that it feels peaceful and private. It was such a relaxing trip—between the sound of the river, the mountain views, and the cozy cabin,

For the money and location, it’s great. It is very outdated and didn’t feel like it was very clean. We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom and having two bathrooms was a plus, but again very run down. The air conditioner was nice to have as it was warm during the daytime, so good to come into cool room. If you want someplace that is inexpensive, this your place. Just don’t expect big towels, coffee, or comfortable sheets and pillows. There was a small coffee pot, but no coffee or cups.

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. We loved our stay so much, that we extended it an extra day. Riverside Lodge offers very rustic cabins which I really loved. Would definitely stay here again.

Understanding this is a mountain town, not a luxury destination, it was nice. Reservations done last minute did not seem to work online. After few calls did get setup over phone and check in was smooth. Rooms are justice, clean. But various issues with broken blinds and uncomfortable furniture. Location in town makes pretty easy walk to most areas. Standard plugs, no USB or C.

What a disappointing experience to say the least! The new owner lacks integrity as well human decency relating to customers. Our group reserved the entire lodge, quoted a price only to have the owner significantly increase the price on half of our group when we went to pay. He drug his feet working with us to resolve the issue only will to discount the rest of a group a minimal amount. He has a very difficult time communicating. Please be aware when booking with this new owner. We did not have the same experience we had with the previous owner. In fact reading reviews, others have had issues with booking and price increases as well as difficulty with the owner. Sadly, this is no longer the place it once was.
