Copper King Lodge

Over the years, we have probably stayed in every single room at this place. The fact we keep coming back for 40+ years should say something. Someone else mentioned the rooms looked dated. I would disagree. They rooms look like a normal cabin type structure that you would find in a typical small mountain town/ski area. And they are equipped perfectly for everything we needed while there. We stayed most recently in October 2025. The newest owners are very friendly & attentive to any of your needs, the staff folks that we met most recently were also awesome and were happy to take care of any needs or requests. If you are looking for some place that you can make your home away from home for a few days/weeks, then this is it. Copper King is definitely awesome. The skiing is great also. Sometime

We absolutely loved our stay! Porch off the kitchen was perfect for having our morning coffee. Also, the little fire pit is perfect for chilly nights around the campfire. Everything we needed was provided and we loved our time there watching the hummingbirds and listening to the river.

The location is perfect for walking to anything in town. It is also right next to the river. The room was dated, but in a “mountain lodge” way. It was clean and the office person was very friendly and helpful. We were in the hotel part, so there was no kitchenette, but we knew that going in and had planned around this. If we return to Red River, we would definitely book again.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was one of the best experiences we have had. The owners are great people. I loved having the kitchen and the 2 bedroom was big enough for our family of 5. The location is super convenient. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go or step around the side of the property to the ski lift. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to anyone who will listen.

We just spent 3 nights in Room 24. Love being in a central location and next to the river. Wine + Dine had the best breakfast EVER! We discovered the Red River Distillery....what a nice place with an atmosphere that let's you get to know the bartenders. We went up the Titanium Ski lift. So relaxing. Put on Sun screen. A fun afternoon.
