Riverside Campground in Madison, IN: Great Location, Major Comfort Issues Date of Stay: Late October Riverside Campground is truly a mixed bag. The location itself is stunning, nestled right on the water and giving you the wonderful feeling of being off the beaten path. The people here are genuinely SUPER friendly and kind, particularly the host at site #2, who was wonderful. We had water and electric hookups, which were great. Madison is also an amazing, cool little town with delicious eateries and a great small town feel, making the overall area a treat to explore. However, the experience at the campground itself had several significant drawbacks that would prevent us from returning, especially for the price of $150 for two nights. Owners are very good poeple, the prices are reasonable and the views are spectacular!

The owner is very friendly! He let us stay last minute and met up with us to get everything situated. He will do anything for his customers! He accommodated to our needs because we were in a tent even though his campground is usually used by rvs. He brought us a table, fire pit, extension cord, and grill and made sure we were comfortable. Great customer service, nice spot right on the river and great nightly rates!
