Riverside by the Beach Apartments

It could be a beautiful place if they maintained it. Pool was out of order. Trash everywhere, very dirty and nothing like the pictures. There were no tables outside. The pool area was a mess as well as the tiki hut. We watched staff DRAG bags of garbage out of the elevator and the bags were leaking. Our room had black mold on the bedroom windows. The office was closed 6/7 days because they were at their sister property. I couldn’t communicate with staff due to not being able to speak Spanish.

Before our stay i read a few month's of reviews here where candidly it made me nervous and gave me second thoughts in staying here. BUT... our expectations were exceeded. Sure, it's far from the Ritz Carlton but the 2-beroom was clean, solid furnishings, and given the rate, the value was a 10 out of 10. The building is on the older side yet seemed to be kept up just fine, the grounds were lush and managed, and the pool was crystal clear. The locations also was ideal (we visit Pompano all the time) No complaints, i recommend this property ...i don't think you will find better value for your money anywhere this close to the beach.

We were told that all necessities would be provided (toilet paper, towels, pack and play, ect.. they were not. We had to go buy our own toilet paper.) we ended up having to pay 100 dollars for a pack and play for the children. We were also under the impression the washer and dryer would be included in the price given for the week, we were told we needed to wash our own towels. After we were there, they proceeded to tell us we needed to pay 100 dollars more for washer/dryer use. Couches had nasty stains, bugs in the sinks. The floors were all around disgusting. We also found a piece of old pizza in the microwave. The neighboring restaurants had garbage bins directly behind this place, around 10 pm they dump their trash and its very loud. Stay away! This property is managed by Rocketstay, whose staff made my trip, and will make your trip, a hellish experience. (if you're interested I have the multiday log of texts, emails and calls to prove it) -Their online access system, at least for android, is broken and they gave no workaround so you literally can't get into your unit unless you tack down someone with an iPhone. -Their staff either speaks no English or is otherwise impaired. After telling them my TV didn't work they first said, We're glad your TV is now working, after I reminded them what I informed them, said It's not supposed to work, then taking more calls and 2 more days to finally send someone over. -After all that they sent me a useless free night voucher apparently in an attempt to keep me from offering a bad vr

DON’T DO IT! This place was disgusting and not at all as advertised! Unfortunately my family (myself, husband and 2 kids) arrived at this “resort” after 20 hours of driving and even as tired as we were, we knew we couldn’t stay there. There was leftover food on the floor and a noodle stuck to the wall. The bed sheets had stains all over them and the toilet didn’t flush. Not to mention the neighborhood didn’t seem safe at all. We went to Pompano Beach around Christmas so we ended up spending a fortune trying to find places to stay because nothing was available at that point. I have been fighting with this company for a refund for a week now and they are refusing to give my money back. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
