River Valley Lodge

Very nice rooms although I've stayed there 5 times so far and only one room had a refrigerator. And a larger tv. Other than that very clean and very quiet. decorations are on point service is good. I'll continue staying here.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting family in the area and I have had a consistently wonderful experience.The rooms have a very upscale look for a much more reasonable, affordable price. Impeccably clean and nicely decorated. Average cost is around $100 (give or take according to days of the week). The friendly staff are very accommodating and helpful. They have a spa, pool and gym available and some rooms have fireplaces in them. There is a 'Grand Room' lobby area that is really nice and comfortable and there is free wifi available throughout the hotel. A lovely, enclosed courtyard off the lobby area too. We were looking for lodging north of Sacramento and I just happened to search for casinos near Sacramento and Williams Ca.. We had not heard of the town of Colusa or the casino, but saw it was only about 15 minutes off of I5 and it had the River Valley Lodge. Off we go and what fun we expierenced. The rustic wood of the hotel was unique and charming. The front desk was friendly and the whole complex looked and felt clean and new. The lodge section is seperated by the casino with electric glass doors. Our king room was spacious with a large bathroom. No noise whatever, but we were on the top 3rd floor.||We had fun in the casino which was uncrowded and NOT smokey. I booked my room here for the 3F Century ride. Had I known how nice it was I would have booked it for two nights. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is enormous and well appointed. Everything was sparkling clean, including the halls and the lounge by the elevator. The restaurant next door was fantastic, and of course it was fun to play a few slot machines.

There is no charge for the room but there was a $50 deposit that takes about 10 days to get back on your credit card and we had a view of the wall looking out the window other than that it was great. Would have liked to have one something played in a Senior tournament and know when for 24 hours then was pulled over on the way home got a ticket it'll be a while before I go back
