River Ranch Resort RV Park

Best 55 + park in Rio Grande Valley if you love to fish. Good neighbors and lots of activities. Great management. We came for one season and decided to reserve our lot permanently. Five minutes from the grocery and hardware store in Rio Hondo, 20 minutes to big stores in Harlingen, 45 minutes to South Padre Island. Update 2024. We are very happy here. Some of the older residents are giving up their lots so there are often vacancies. River front lots with a spectacular view even come available occasionally. We feel welcome here.

We stayed at RRR from December 2020- March 2021 and loved everyday we were there! The park was fabulous, had wonderful activities, and the people were incredible!! Tina the park manager was great! Bobbie in the office was great! If you are looking for a great place to stay in the Rio Grande Valley RRR is the place to stay! We will be going back!!

Great place, came for one season and never left. A wonderful senior park There has been several managers since we got here, no managerial issues that we have experienced. They work hard to keep our park safe and assure the residents here are comfortable. They take complaints seriously and follow up ASAP to elimate the issue. Fishing runs from good to fair depending on the season and river conditions. It has been great for trout this past month. They are keepers and my freezer looks good. Pet friendly, which brings in the seasonal folks and well as the full time residents. We would recommend the Ranch to seniors wanting a clean friendly park. Bear & Linda Lot 145

My husband and I have lived at River Ranch Resort since 2009. We have a great on-site manager. Lots of great people. The out of state owners could be a little more proactive in doing what they say they were going to do to make park improvements. But all in all it is a great place to live!
