River Ranch Campground

I absolutly love River Ranch and highly recommend to everyone who wants a peaceful place to camp with some really cool trails to hike fishing or even just swimming. Theres plenty of room at each site which is nice to ha e privacy theres hot showers restrooms and its gorgeous. My family and I found that camping towards the end of season is best we were lucky and had the place almost entirely to ourselves which is also the perfect time because the grapes are ripe and ready. Theres 1 thing that should be for warned and that there's the resident skunks that like to make there rounds through the camps but believe me when I say they are the nicest skunks you'll ever meet. They don't sray you or stink and aren't afraid of the campers but distance is always best no matter how friendly they seem.

A wonderfully former NFS campground turned into a private campground. Spacious lots. Newly built bathrooms & shower house, volleyball field and sandpit. Has loads of potential if money is being spent in the right places. The employee onsite is helpful and friendly, creates ultracool art that is displayed at the front desk/shop/museum. Spend a night in May '25, here under the large tree (site 7R). We were almost alone. Quiet night, had a good rest. Wishing the management best of luck with their plans on this diamond in the rough! Our experience at River Ranch Campground was truly a piece of heaven on earth. The tranquility of the location, combined with its stunning natural beauty, made for an unforgettable stay. The campground offers easy access to the river, providing a peaceful and idyllic setting to relax and enjoy nature. The amenities were also fantastic, the bathrooms were clean, and the hot showers were the cherry on top, making our stay comfortable and refreshing. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed every moment we spent there. Cyto and Constantino were incredibly lovely and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Absolutely gorgeous. Man at the front gate was incredibly welcoming and peaceful. A serene place to fully connect with mother nature. Beautiful and everything I needed this day. You can truly feel the energy pulsing through the bark of the trees as you wrap yourself around them and the power of the earth traveling up underneath your bare feet. It felt like home. I loved it and I will do everything I can to come back as often as possible regardless of the distance.

There is guest wifi if needed. The phone connection will drop when you are there. There are hot showers on camp as well as bathrooms. The views are unforgettable, we will be back to enjoy another stay.
