Beautiful, clean, quiet stay right on the river. The host, Stella, was very pleasant and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area -- lots of good inside information. Highly recommend!
This was a fantastic, off the beaten path find! Stella was an excellent host and really helped us out in a pinch when we were looking for last minute accommodations after ending our backpacking trip. The place was so quiet and cozy that we wanted to stay much longer than we did but needed to catch a flight the next day. Thanks to Stella for helping us out when we were about 1 minute away from pitching a tent at the State Park...the hospitality was amazing and I can't think of a better place we've stayed when coming out of the backcountry! I have a feeling we'll be coming back again... 10/10, would highly recommend!
I stayed for 3 nights at the River Inn. Everything was clean. the living and dining room are very, very comfortable. Its still winter time so with that you get rain....thank goodness there is a clothes dryer and washer. the lodge is right on the Bogachiel river. the setting is very relaxing. the kitchen was well stocked with all of the flatware, pots, plates and glassware you could need. We will be back again. Without a doubt this is one of the finest, most comfortable places I have stayed at. Plenty of room for up to 6 or 7 people. Located just a few miles from Forks so if you need anything from the store its only minutes away. And a special thank you to Jeff and Laura. they are great hosts. I will be staying here again.
Excellent all across the board! Clean, quiet, and peaceful. Seeing the Elk cross the river there was amazing. Stella is so helpful, friends, and just all around wonderful. Her tips made our adventures better.
My buddies have been going fishing with Jeff for many years. This was my second salmon fishing trip. The cabin/house is a nice place to rest and sleep. Most beds are full size, and one is a queen, but no problem. The grounds are nicely laid out, but we were there to fish. There is also room for an RV or two, but should check. Jeff knows how to put you on the fish. I found myself never waiting for a rod. Just cannot believe how he handles a boat, watches for safety, fish, and makes a rod ready for you. Four of us caught fish. I landed a big steelhead hen about 19 pounds.
