Our stay at the Rio Hotel & Casino was extremely disappointing. We found a bug in our bed, which is unacceptable by any standard. When we reported it, customer service was horrible and showed little concern for the situation. Instead of resolving the issue properly, we were told there were no other rooms available, leaving us feeling stuck and dismissed. I wouldn’t leave till they found us a room. The female finally did and said she would have to kick someone else out who hadn’t checked in yet. I had to move my family of 4 at 9pm to another room, they didn’t offer to have someone help us move. I had to ask for a bell guy. When we spoke with the manager, Giles, he seemed not concerned at all and did nothing meaningful to address our complaints. I went to the regular checking counter and a

Positive: Size of the room and for the most part casino and most hotel staff. Negative: Let me count the ways…long black hair in tub. No cleaning service and very small garbage can. Carpet not that clean. Bathroom door required you to get into the bathroom. No pop machine near room . Would be nice to have a microwave. Couch is old and beat

This hotel is terrible, they charged me extra fees one for a smoking fee, I don’t smoke or vape. There rooms smell like smoke an hallways but they will still charge you for that fee. This is scam!! On another review a guest had a issue with there room being smoky too and the manager apologizes for the room being smoky so how is it that the hotel have rooms smelling like smoke and the guest that doesn’t smoke get hit with a large $500 fee. Doesn’t make sense Below is the where the manager apologized for the smoky room. Why have rooms like that and charge the guest for smoking. I went to the front desk and asked to move me rooms because my room smelled like smoke. They told me the hotel is completely booked sorry. So the next day I checked out I receive a receipt with $500 smoking fee and ex

We stayed at the Rio for a week and were disappointed from check in. Very poor customer service. When we arrived we were told to use the kiosk, there was one person at the counter with 10 kiosks ins for “faster service”. Wrong, no way to get questions answered or directions to Hotel amenities. I like to move my own luggage so I asked for a luggage cart, I was told to go to the bell captain to get one, when I did I was told that only Hotel staff could use them so I had to make three trips back and forth to the car, a considerable walk. No microwave ovens to warm up leftovers from hotel restaurants, I guess they just want you to keep spending money in their places to eat? Our room was sparsely furnished (1 dining chair besides a small love seat and bed), it made the room feel like a gymn

I kind of dig the Rio. It’s slightly off the strip so you have low-traffic options when leaving to go somewhere, rather than being dumped right onto LV Blvd. I stayed in Masquerade Tower, and my view was excellent. Parking was easy and convenient too. There are a great selection of restaurants in the Rio if you don’t feel like going out. I liked that they had music videos from the 80s/90s/early 2000s playing on a big screen in the casino all day. I would definitely stay here again.
