Ridge Manor Motel

We stopped here late at night while traveling as we were tired and weren't having much luck. Upon pulling in we were greeted by a young man (maybe 17 years old). It appeared as though he was living in one of the rooms. He showed us to the room next to the one he seemed to reside in. I was discussed but since it was so late decided to stay. Went to pay with credit card and he seemed a bit like he wasn't sure what to do. So he rings a door bell to get who I'm guessing was the Owner. Once we begin to look around the room and get settled we found the sheets were filthy, sandy and clearly left from the previous occupant. We asked for new sheets and the kid replied "there are sheets on the bed." Yes, but they were nasty, so we made our own beds, the shower drain was bent with a part sticking up

I too experienced this "17 year old kid" that didn't know what he was doing that the previous review encountered. It is the cheapest motel in town for a reason, and even then it's not worth it. We didn't end up staying here but we almost did. Driving through Dade City trying to find a decent cheap motel is impossible! We looked at the room before purchasing and I'm glad we did. Of course it smelled like smoke and the bed didn't look made at all. I saw bugs crawling underneath the tv cabinet and I immediately checked for bed bugs. I didn't see any but the sheets were nasty. I didn't even bother looking in the bathroom... Don't go here.

This motel is the world's worst place to stay. Not only is there bugs but everyone runs a risk of having your money stolen by the owner of the motel . My boyfriend and I have been staying at this motel since November 27 and we have noticed that $328 was stolen from my boyfriends payroll card. Our second week here he paid $225 for rent and then on top of that they took a extra $110 when they did that my boyfriends card went into the negative. Now just this past Friday I paid $225 for rent and then again they took out $210 extra . The owner of this motel has committed FRAUD!!!! Beware of the ridge manor motel. Plz protect yourselves don't use a card to pay , use cash!!!!!

Most disgusting place I have ever seen,between the smell,the drug dealers and prostitutes that occupy the rooms. I can honestly say that this place should be raided by police and condemned. The prostitutes hook freely from room to room.the management doesn't even care because they are bringing in money for their rooms. Save yourself from the chlamydia and a tetanus shot. They don't even change the bed spread! So unless you want to lay in someone's seamen stay away from this place.

Owner took an extra 265 after i left. Manager was alright but her boss and up are thieves. Pay with cash and bring your own linen, pillows and so fourth. Possibly a cig as well.
