Its first come first serve, so if you don't get there first you'll be in mostly sun all day. There's a large gator whom has clearly been fed by all the campers on a regular and he made it impossible to fish. Other than that it's ok. No power, no potable water, port a potty was clean.
Beautiful semi-primative camp ground, with large, well-shaded sites.
One of my favorites places to camp primitive. No potable water no power no problem- Generator ok from 8 am to 8 pm. Pets on leashes only. 3 fire rings and tables. 3 mi from SR 471. Kayak or canoe on the Withlacoochee River. Beware of large gators.
Very remote campsite, very peaceful with an amazing view of the river. Be very careful trying to get back there with larger rigs but would be perfect for class B and smaller class c RVs
Great place to camp, but bring your own toilet as the porta-let was horrible worse than what I see on job sites.
