Rico Mine Shaft Inn

I stayed here because Telluride was too expensive. This place is a little like a B & B - there was a common area with shared kitchen, they put out some breakfast items for self-serve and you could put your own things in the fridge.|The room was decorated in old Victorian style and had a large bathroom with claw-foot tub. When I wanted to relax and read a book I used the sofa in the common area and usually had it to myself. Everything was clean and quiet. No TV in the room which wasn’t a problem for me.

Beautiful old home from the 1800’s that felt warm, inviting and cozy. The perfect spot for an overnight stay. Especially if you’re not interested is higher priced Telluride. Jordan gave us some great tips for hiking in the area. Highly recommend staying here.

Rico mineshaft review the true getaway from the getaway The rooms are beautifully curated and the beds are so comfortable it almost makes you never want to leave. The Garden bar is the SPOT! Andrew has created a bar that has everything he needs, to meet your needs. The frozen watermelon margs he makes will be a forever need for me. The history of the Inn and surrounding area are paid homage in the locals and business owners like Andrew, by preserving the simplicity of this breathtaking town. 100/10 would recommend, a million and a half stars! Honestly can’t wait till my next visit

We loved this beautiful home away from home in Rico. Its has charm, warmth and transports you in time - yet makes you feel comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and the breakfasts were tasty and filling, the wood fired stoves keep the place cozy, the whole place is quiet, the guest kitchen has all the amenities. The hospitality of Andrew and Jordan who manage this place was the cherry on top. Always making sure we were comfortable and all our needs tended to while giving all their guests ample space. We loved our stay here so much that we turned our one night stay into a three night stay. Would definitely stay here when we in the Telluride area.

We happened upon Jorden and Andrew (the owners) at The Enterprise in Rico and immediately hit it off. We were passing through having a divorce party/trip for my friend. We had planned to stay in Telluride but really didn't want the high cost. We decided to check out their place and we were not disappointed. They were friendly and so accommodating to our needs. The rooms and overall home is quite lovely and very clean. You can't go wrong with this gem. To top it off the people of Rico are so kind and fun! Thanks for a great experience Jorden and Andrew, we will be back!
