Rich's Montana Guest Ranch

We came to the ranch as guests but left as family! I can’t say enough about how we were treated during our stay. 15 inexperienced riders and they worked tirelessly to keep us all safe and happy! The rooms, lodge, staff, and scenery were exceptional but the horses stole the show. You can tell they are well cared for and well trained. Will definitely return.

Spent a week at Rich's Ranch July 2025 for myself and 21-year-old daughter. This was our 5th dude ranch experience at varies ranches around MT and WY. In a nutshell the owners and staff are very nice folks, our cabin was clean and comfortable, however we both thought there are better dude ranch options out there if your looking for a full week stay. They cater more as an outfitter guiding 7-10 multi day Pak trips, which leave and arrive at various times during our week stay. The guest that stay at the ranch, are more of an afterthought. They allow guests to stay & ride for just a couple nights/days and then continue on with their Montana vacation. What a wonderful experience! My husband and I enjoyed a 4 day winter vacation at Rich's Ranch, snowmobiling through the beautiful landscape with two awesome guides. There was lots of snow and we got stuck several times, but our patient guides helped us through it and were very attentive to our needs. Our cabin was spacious and comfortable, with a warm fire place and fun outdoor deck. The bed was comfortable and the food was amazing!!!! Delicious home made meals and plenty of snacks. This was a first class retreat in the woods that had a very rustic, but comfortable feel to it. It was definitely a life time experience and great vacation for us and we highly recommend it.

Incredible place all around! The staff and hosts are so friendly. You literally become one of the family. The local hiking and horseback riding filled the experience.

Wonderful Vacation!||We just had the best trip to Rich Ranch in Montana! We were a group of five high school friends who were celebrating our 60th birthdays and from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. We met some wonderful people - including our new friends from Wisconsin and Kentucky- and really enjoyed getting to know the people who owned and worked at the ranch. It was a perfect time to visit! Beautiful blue skies, mountains, forests, and meadows. We loved our horses and enjoyed our rides. Loved the breakfast by the creek, the hay ride through the property and pasture, the pontoon boat ride at Seely Lake, eating together with everyone at the big tables, the cookout, sitting by the fire, the delicious food , and loved talking with the Wrangle
