The rooms are filthy, and reek terribly of cigarette smoke (even though there are "No Smoking" signs), trash all over the parking lot, guests are allowed to party all hours, and the owner couple can be heard loudly arguing every morning as the make their rounds. Maybe worst of all, you may or may not have any hot water when you go to shower. Way too many hotels in this immediate area to choose from to stay at this dump.

I vist tyler every year stayed at others motels in tyler and I decided to give Rest inn a chance so I booked 2 rooms with them and I was honestly surprised by the service that I got. Weekly rates are super affordable and quite cheap compare to other nearby motels. Quite at night. Everyday housekeeping service. Staff is super friendly and they also have laundry facility. Will stay again next year

Shower works great hot water last. But the roaches are not pleasant. They are literally everywhere but the bed and the shower. Based on other comments on not being allowed a refund, I wasn't even going to try to get my money back. If you need a bed and shower quick and cheap then come here, but beware of roaches

Rooms reek of cigarette smoke even with "No Smoking" signs posted on every door, there's mold on some of the furniture and the hardware floors don't look like they've ever been cleaned. Hot water is hit or miss so expect to have to shower in the middle of the night. Don't expect to sleep in either because the owner couple argue loudly every morning as the make their rounds. There was some kind of small bug that showed up in the sink everyday, fortunately they couldn't climb out so I was able to wash them down the drain. I also killed a spider and a few roaches. If you like cleanliness this isn't the place for you. I will never pay up front before looking at another hotel room and always check reviews. There are way too many here to choose from.

Very accommodating place for traveler. Top of the line motel in it's day. All units have a car port conducive for minor vehicle maintenance. HOT water in shower which is in newly remodeled bathroom. Low price and wonderful staff.
