Residence Inn by Marriott St. Cloud

I travel 12 to 15 times a year for work in support of our C-suite - this is one of my favorite hotels by far. - Layout: the layout of the rooms (especially the suites) makes them actually functional! I could sit in the "living room" side and comfortable do work or watch TV while putting together a meal in the kitchen - Breakfast: one of the better free hot breakfast options at a hotel, hands down - Heated pool: a fantastic benefit, especially during the Minnesota winter - Staff: exceptional and supportive, maintaining a clean and accessible space It's not the most aesthetic hotel ever - but that's not why you're staying in St. Cloud. For everything you need to actually enjoy your stay and feel like you have some at-home amenities, I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

The room was clean, the front desk staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet but had a good location near stores and restaurants. However, the breakfast was just okay and the containers need a good cleaning especially the tower that held the utensils, the bagel splitter and the case containing the bagels.

We enjoyed our stay at the residence Inn in Waite Park. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have breakfast in the morning again and to enjoy the gym and the pool. I noticed there was a washer dryer area which we did not need but on other occasions that is super convenient! Our bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. I’m not in love with the crazy wallpaper but it’s not terrible. There is a lovely small kitchen which is convenient for stashing snacks and even making a meal. I was glad we were able to adjust the thermostat as we like to keep the room fairly cool at night. Also the restaurant attached, Mavericks was delicious and conveniently located! All in all a very pleasant stay.

Linda the manager is the best at any hotel, she sorted out a room issue we had and even helped get a much better rate. Would definitely come back again. Nice clean and quiet hotel.

Quite spendy, but felt safe and comfortable. Spacious one bedroom, two beds. Biggest recommendation, please rotate your breakfast. Otherwise, I felt right at home.
