Residence Inn by Marriott Odessa

My room felt dusty and my allergy started to get worse. AC had a screw lose or something, it was rattling enough that it bothered my sleep. I just turned it off. Great location but I don't think I want to stay here again.

I have stayed in this hotel for the past four years. I stay here at least 4 times each year. I am currently on the second floor in room 219. The room is terrible. I walked in and could tell the sink area in the kitchen area had not been cleaned. I cleaned it and thought nothing of it. I then went to the bathroom and around the floor of the toilet it was dirty. The shower area on the floor was dirty. The shelves that the towels and blow dryer are kept on was dirty. Inside of the shower on the metal handicap shower rail there was hair that was not mine. Bathroom door dirty. The iron pad on the ironing board is filthy.

A great location just minutes from University of Texas Permian Basin and closer to Astound Stadium on gameday. We choose the Odessa Residence Inn as iy was located in the middle of the area wee planned to visit. Lots of options available but this was best choice. Vanessa V and her staff made sure our stay was pleasant and friendly faces all around. They had solid recommendations on local restaurants and shopping. Clean, fresh and no problems was our experience. If you are a UTPB fan or alumni be sure to ask for special rates. We look forward to staying here for the next gameday.

A big thank you to Marques (Residence Inn by Marriott Odessa) for going above and beyond helping me with my luggage and groceries. He was very courteous and professional. Rooms are very clean and spacious.

Positive: Location Negative: Was charged a parking fee and no regulations on how many guests someone renting a room is allowed to have. Kids eating in pool trash all over the place was told no manager on duty
