Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis Downtown/City Center

I am visiting my boyfriend while he's doing medical treatments with the U of M, which is already a stressful time. I was not aware that I had to immediately put in my car license plate number, and was under the assumption that I had to give it to them before I left. I received 2 parking tickets and when I asked the front desk, as advised by interstate parking, to handle and charge to our room Krystal Kubiszewski refused to help. She was very unprofessional, trying to put lies into my mouth to cover ressidence inn from being charged fees, and refused to help. I had to call interstate to help, not her. The customer shouldn't be the one coming up with solutions, the manager should be. There was 0 empathy, she immediately went into "We aren't paying fees for you". As someone who is the front

Front desk Manager, Krystal, was very unprofessional and no help with parking garage fees when I wasn't aware I had to immediately give them my car number. I have never been spoken to by a front desk with such unwillingness to help. Don't recommend. There's also squeaking in the ceilings, and breakfast is not great. Bacon tastes like bacon flavored paper, eggs are chewy.

Smokey J's Four P's Review: Price: 5/5. Excellent value for the quality received. Feels new and very well maintained. Service was very good, and the attached parking deck was convenient (for $23 daily fee). Pantry: 5/5. Hot breakfast available with good variety. Restaurant-grade furnishes in large dining area. pH: 3/5. Water was very soft. Still not sure if I've rinsed all the soap off. More a result of local water supply than under the hotel's control. Patio: 1/5. Only smoking option was to go out and stand by the street, but for a downtown property I guess this is all one can hope for. Glad it wasn't winter.

This hotel is huge! Never seen such wide and long hallways at a hotel like at this one. Staff were awesome every step of the way, friendly as well as helpful. Hotel guests can park for free in the ramp attached to the hotel building which now makes this my go-to Minneapolis hotel. Our single bedroom suite was great; clean, spacious and very clean. Breakfast at the hotel was pretty good for a free breakfast and there are plenty of dining options nearby within walking distance. I'll stay here again when in town for overnight events without a question.

Came in for a two week stay for work. Room itself was fine, quiet and clean and got the job done. Nice tv in room and good view. Breakfast poorly done, no effort, some days eggs and sausage and some days just biscuit only. Do not depend on this for a meal. Front desk staff mostly helpful and friendly. Did the parking package, parking garage safe and reliable, easy access parking daily. Surrounding area questionable, especially walking around after dark. Hardly anything open after 10 pm and a lot of questionable characters at the bus stop around the corner. Exercise room 2 treadmills some dumbbells and an elliptical. Not great but will do the minimum for a workout. Security inside the hotel was fine, have to scan card to get in and get on elevator. Lastly, room service only once a week, and
