Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Bloomingdale

I had the opportunity to stay at this location for 3 weeks on a work trip recently. Upon checking in I forgot my phone charger as well as proper winter clothes. The manager David was so helpful he directed me to the nearest place I could find warm clothes and provided me with a free phone charger to make sure I could get back and forth. The service I received was OUTSTANDING and made all the difference in my trip. His entire staff was awesome and I will definitely be back to stay next trip.

A very nice hotel to stay at close to all amenities. Hotel staff were nice and accommodating. There were a few issues with the room like phone was not working, exhaust of stove was not functioning. Minor inconveniences but not a deal breaker. I definitely recommend this hotel and location for a family stay.

The staff were nice and the exterior of the hotel and most of interior outside of room look nice. I appreciate the coffee and breakfast. But, inside the room it had a bad stench. Dishes were dirty in cabinets, hair was found throughout the room, soap and conditioner were empty in bathroom, TV didn’t work, no one came to clean in a 3 nights stay. The pillows are cheap and thin. The walls are thin and a drunken dispute kept us up from 3AM - 5:30AM one night. Chronic cough was clear all night another night. The hotel cannot control the guests, but still an issue. I don’t like having to pay for parking in this area as well. I usually don’t write reviews but I thought this place would be nicer and maybe this helps others or hotel management make improvements. We won’t be back and can’t recomme

We had family in town and stayed at this hotel. The room was nice and the pool was great for the kids. Just would've been nice if there were bedsheets for the sofa bed. Breakfast was okay. It was the exact same menu Saturday and Sunday. We would've liked to have a little more variety and some potatoes like they usually do. But overall great experience and would recommend!

I don’t know where to start. we have stayed in Residence Inn and Marriott a lot and is one of our preferred hotels to stay but not anymore, we may re think the next time we book a residence Inn. Residence Inn is known for its kitchen setup, only to find no utensils in the room, cutlery for only 2 people in a two room suite. That was still manageable but the washroom was the next pain, the toilet flush was continuously running with loud noise making it hard for us to sleep. The bathtub was not draining while showering, the floor was wet all the time. Forgot to mention, that the room may have had bed bugs as my wife got a lot of blisters from head to toe after staying there
