Renegades On The River

This place has been on my radar list for a few months. Finally set my sails for Renegades on the river. The ride there was great ! Location is GREAT !!! Customer service was ok. I was seated right away. After reviewing the menu I ordered my grub @ the bar. My cup of clam chowder was barely warm. My appetizer was 22 minutes in the making, don’t get me wrong, the bar was a little busy so I didn’t complain cause I was hungry. Please stop by for your own thoughts ! I’ll more than likely make another trip there. Thanxs

Service was atrocious. We waited for a table for a good hour despite being told it would take 20 - 30 minutes. I asked the server if she could recommend the pork chop and she responded that she could not as she was unfamiliar with them and stated none of her customers ordered it. So pork chops could have been great but the server simply “did not know”. Soup took 45 min and the onion soup was lukewarm and the cheese on top had not made under a broiler. We continued to wait towards an hour after ordering when the waitress sent the manager out to tell me that the ribs that I ordered were not available. I could not understand why the service was so slow as there was a multitude of empty tables. I have never written such a bad review before. I just wanted others to know what they might look for

We have camped at Renegade's On The River for 3 years. The campground is absolutely the best and the management is very good and kind. Then the restaurant is fantastic food is excellent and all the workers are polite and friendly. The tiki bar is where we like to go in the evening they always have special events and entertainment. Again the workers are awesome at the tiki bar. We look forward to camping at Renegade's every year.

Ate at the restaurant did not stay at the hotel. This was our second visit there for a dinner. I ordered a medium well 8 oz sirloin steak which ended up cooked well done, it was dry, and the sweet potato I ordered ended up being sold out and I had to go with a regular baked potato which had this cheese sauce on it that really didn't make the potato taste better besides it was way too much and I scraped some off. The sour cream never made it to me and our drinks were never filled back up except that she asked after we were done eating if we needed more drinks. Half way through dinner new drinks should automatically be brought when the ones on the table are half full or less. Maybe it was just a busy night, our first visit was much better..

A RVer recommend this park from up in Georgia, boy I’m glad they did!! The staff was fabulous in the bait shop!! The Tiki bar was well staffed with Shelley as the bar maid. A great smile and greeted everyone with it. Kaylee on the restaurant bar side was great too!! She talked us into the pizza and it was delicious. I’d recommend all the food, we ended up eating there every night!! We will be back for sure!!
