RELAX INN & SUITES

Very bad place to stay the guy at the front desk gave us a room and I go to walk in and there is people in that room. The place looks horrible.. only staying here because we was really tired and needed some sleep

The staff was nice. The water was hot and it was a place to catch a nights rest after a long day of traveling. Those were the only good things. It really needs updating. The fridge didn't work. I did not take off my socks. The carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. Over all, I would not stay again.

This place is disgusting. I was stranded in Hope due to my truck breaking down. The beds do not have covers (stained mattresses). The blankets and sheets have holes and stains ( I noticed a blood stain on the blanket). There’s holes in the walls. The room was very much ran down. It was a very uncomfortable setting to have my daughter (2years old) stay in. I requested a refund within 5 minutes of being there. The guy at the front desk was rude, and I’m sure he was upset bc while I was packing up n looking for another hotel. He knocked on the door and kicked my daughter and I out bc he thought we would mess up the room. I gladly sat outside and waiting on taxi. This motel is by far the worst place I’ve ever encountered!!!

I wasn't going to stop but was really tired. The pictures on the site looked good, and it was a good deal. So I stopped. The outside looked alright and there is a sheriff's office across the street so I figured that was a good sign. The guy in the office was nice, too. When I got to the room, I was floored. The door was messed up. There was no real lock on it. The light switch on the door didn't turn the light on. The light above the sink flickered. Bad. The bathroom was clean but it looked nasty. Holes in the carpet. Burn holes in the blankets. Decided to just go right to sleep. I didn't even get under the blankets. The next morning, I left early. I just wanted out of that place. I'm only giving it a start because I have to. Most of the rooms smell like smoke, they had metal folding chairs for furniture and the place was disgusting. My husband laid down on the bed and a spider was crawling on the pillow, there was mouse feces on the bathroom counter, and the smoke detectors wires were cut and it had no batteries. Absolutely disgusting. My grandparents room smelled like pure cigarettes after we requested no smoking rooms. We received our money back after my husband pointed our the fire codes that were broke. I would never stay in a room.like this. It should he shut down. The price was also forty dollars more expensive a night due to the festival going on in the town. For the price they charged I expected a little better.
