Redwood Lodge

Breakfast was very good. Lots of options, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, waffles, fruit. The rooms were ok, beds were firm but we slept ok. We could hear our neighbors pretty clearly and woke up to their alarm...and their snooze alarm...and their snooze alarm....You could tell the hotel is in overall reconstruction mode but it was a nice place to stay and felt very cozy

This is a very nice, well maintained hotel. It is a little on the 'old' side, but they are currently doing renovations, and I expect it to look great once complete. |There were a lot of construction companies staying at the same time, and I realize there isn't much they can do about them, but it did make for some 'dirty' interactions...such as the mud that was all over the floors (they did work to keep those cleaned up, but dirt happens) one morning in the lounge/breakfast area, there was what appeared to be bird seed everywhere, and of course, the nearly constant smell of pot. Thankfully it was outside and not so thankfully, in the halls, but NOT in my room. The room was clean and smelled that way. The staff was great and very accommodating. Clean and awesome hot breakfast. So much to choose from. Nice coffee bar, fresh water and cookies at all times. So glad we stayed here!!

Stayed here with a volleyball team (and families) for a Marshall MN tournament. Had a group reservation. This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The entire staff was efficient, friendly and very well organized. The front desk was very willing to work with our requests for a big group. This effort is greatly appreciated when traveling as a big group. Fresh baked cookies were a huge hit with our group. Hot coffee all day in the lobby and ice cold water readily available too. The breakfast was homemade and absolutely delicious. Two other volleyball teams were staying here as well and the breakfast staff did an excellent job keeping up with the above average demand. We highly recommend the Redwood Lodge!!!

Great location! The employees are very helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We had a golden retriever with us as well and they do allow pets! Would come here again.
