Redfish Cabin

Redfish Lake, Idaho is a fantastic recreational destination for those in the region any travelers or campers passing through. The alpine lake offers crystal clear water for fishing, swimming and boating. Plenty of camp sites can be found around its shores, while the lodge is excellent for families with kids and dogs who can use the dog beach and the nearby area for picnics, etc. Those not camping can rent cabins for an exceptionally peaceful stay. Oh, and hikers aren't left out either!

Wonderful cabin on the lake. Definitely not "roughing it" as much as the yurts. This place features electricity, gas fireplace (and electric heater), an oven, a fridge, and a microwave. Views are perfect and the place is very easily accessed via groomed trails (in the winter).

This is a great place to stay any time of the year. I stayed at the end of December and snowshoed in to get there. It was about 2.5 mikes but all flat. In the winter the cabin has no running water but there is electric and central heating plus a gas heater. They lock up the bathroom in winter so you have to use the pit toilet outside. The cabin is right in from of the lake and has great views of the mountains. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

Super pretty location, parked at the pullout on hwy75 and hiked in as the road was closed for winter. Easy hike, super pretty location
