Stanley River Retreat & Cabins

Looking out your front door into the pristine view: mountains, meadows, river teeming with life. Your own front porch. Fire table. Inside is light filled and cheerful, pale wood. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Immaculate. Just up the street is the charming town of Stanley with all it’s history and bars and herding dogs and great restaurants and friendly people. Another world indeed!

My wife and I stayed three nights and it couldn't have been a better experience. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The view of the Sawtooths was fantastic and the Salmon River just off the deck of the cabin was the perfect finishing touch! The staff were very helpful with good suggestions for places to visit in the area and options for dining out. We will definitely stay again!!

We have stayed in cabin #12 in the past and loved it every time. This time, we rented the two two-story cabins for our family and our dear neighbors with their 4 kids. We spent Christmas eve and Christmas night there and loved every magical moment. There was not much snow and it was rainy but the views were spectacular! Some of us even caught rainbow trout in the river. We can't wait for a return visit.

Our stay at the riverside cabin in Stanley, Idaho was nothing short of magical. The setting alone—nestled right along the river with incredible Sawtooth views—felt like stepping straight into a postcard. But what truly made the trip unforgettable was our host. Levie was unbelievably friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating from start to finish, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and stocked with all the little touches that make a place feel like home. Waking up to the sound of the river and winding down under the stars each night was just the cherry on top. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for future visits. Highly, highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed in Cabin 17 from September 17th-22nd. After flying into Hailey, we got our groceries and head up to Stanley. The cabin was small, but comfortable and the river was lovely. We were up there to hike and the Sawtooth Wilderness provided endless opportunities. Our cabin was around 15 minutes (or less) to popular trailheads, which was great. We chatted with Levie on our final day as we ate our glorious dinner of cheese and crackers by the river. The view was lovely. She had several great recommendations and was very sweet. I promised to share photos. I'd love to stay here again. It made the perfect base camp.
