Redbud Inn

This is by far the nastiest room I have ever stayed in. We stopped in after travelling all day and were exhausted. She let me know she had 1 room so we took it. (room 207) The room had a thick URINE smell. I went to family dollar to get some cleaner and at least mask the urine smell because we were desperate for sleep after travelling 17 hours. When I used the cleaner on the carpet it turned the rag completely dark brown just from a few scrubs. We ended up opening the window in the bathroom and the front door to get some airflow. We only were able to stay for a couple hours because it was so bad, we just really needed the sleep at the moment. Even if it was their last room, they would of been better off saying they had no rooms left, I would of rather drove to the next town. So gross.

It is hard to fairly rate this hotel because it is only 1 of 2 hotels available for wind turbine techs in the area. So, out of the 2 hotels in the area, this is the better one. However, it is barely average, yet I don't want to knock it down too much.||The hotel room IS clean yet the room itself is very aged and rundown. Definitely needs a pick-me-up.||The staff are nice and helpful.

Rolled in about 10 pm for first time. Room was updated, but retro furnished. Plenty of parking and comfortable. The price was very fair.Room had everything one needed including a full size ironing board hanging on the wall with iron. I liked it a lot. Will stay there again someday.

The tub did not have a stopper to bath in and shower head had no access to turn on.

Bought three rooms months in advance, they were all in separate sides of the property. The rooms were recently renovated it looks like, however there was a couple spots on everyone’s door frame with AT LEAST an inch of gap, leading to all the bugs in our rooms. Upon arrival, we were not going to use the third room, rang the doorbell no one answered, we still did not use room. Next morning, a gentleman was at window and told us he would still charge us for the third room, even after all these inconveniences. If the other hotels weren’t worse or too far away I wouldn’t have ever came back, but glad to see they still live up to the terrible reputation. Great location, friendly maid staff, terrible ownership/management.
