Red Roof Inn & Suites Wapakoneta

I don’t like to complain, but this place was not worth my $87. Air unit was fully in the room on a wooden platform that was moldy and dusty. Chair was very tattered and the whole room really badly needs to be updated. The only pleasant thing was the young lady at the front counter when we checked in. She was very nice to work with. I hope she finds a different place to work before her reputation goes down the clogged drains.

Ants roaming the floor. Place smells of smoke. Loud doors and thumps surrounding the room. Literally a huge booger on the wall above the toilet. Room has a very ratty chair. Bathtube doesn't drain well. Guest services relocated me to a better room. Easy fix.

Positive: Quiet. Comfortable beds. Negative: Easy chair was ripped in multiple places. No security lock. Bathroom was very run down, which appeared to be dirty.

This hotel is an excellent value and very convenient to the highway. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-kept. It’s especially great for travelers with dogs—the large grassy area made it easy and enjoyable to walk our pup. We’d definitely stay here again!

I visited this motel while returning from a trip from Kentucky. ||||I arrived late at night and without a reservation. However, the staff member in the lobby was very friendly and accommodating. I had a very bad experience at my last hotel, so he allowed me to view my room before checking me in. ||||The room and motel were basic, but they got the basics right! ||||The room I was in appeared to be recently renovated. The floor was wood veneer, not carpet, so I could plainly see it was clean. The bathroom was clean, modern and stocked with supplies. The bathroom was a bit small and there was no fan (or at least I couldn't find a switch for the fan), so the mirror fogged when I showered. ||||The room was very quiet!
