Red Roof Inn & Suites DeKalb

Positive: The room was very clean, and the staff were responsive. Negative: There were some sketchy people there during our stay. The walkways needed more regular cleaning. I would recommend removing ash trays from those areas.

It's been a couple of years since I stayed there but for some reason I was surfing around looking at reviews for past places I've stayed. I came to town to pick up a dog at Tails Humane Society and needed a dog-friendly room. The lady behind the desk was helpful and friendly, and the room was immaculately clean. To be honest I didn't feel entirely safe there but I think some of that was due to being a woman alone (except for the dog of course) in an unfamiliar town at night after driving about 9 hours! I was leaving early the next morning to go back home. Walking the dog after dark was a slightly uneasy experience, and someone slapped down the do not disturb sign I hung on the outside of the door; I found it once I looked out to see what the noise had been. We have used thier conference rooms multimes for training and meetings. The service is always top notch. They address and needs. Food and snack service is always great. Vicky and her staff go above and beyond. She also said they are going to start a remodeling update. It maybe an older facility but is very clean.

Good Hotel, Excellent Service and Pricing. I arrived before the check in time and the room was already clean, the staff was very very helpful and lovely. The check in process less than 5 minutes, I got a problem with the door lock and it was resolved in 1 minute. The room was clean, the bathroom is big, the bed so comfortable. Also this hotel is close to fast foods, Walgreens, CVS and bars. I have to say that it was a good stay and I will choose this hotel the next time I go from Puerto Rico to Dekalb.

Heater took forever to warm up. Tv was on hdm2 and s/b hdm1 and phone in room wasn’t working. Call office they sent maintenance down to fix the television and the phone. I went off to my event, came back TV had reverted back to HDM2, so I finally figured it out how to get it back to HDM1. Train track behind the hotel. So all in all it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever been in.
