Red Roof Inn Hagerstown - Williamsport, MD

About a mile off the C&O canal trail and good stop for cyclists. One of the cleaner budget motels that I have stayed at. Accommodating staff made sure we had a ground level floor so we could roll our bikes in. They have a bike room also and a hose to clean them off if needed. Decent Chinese food across the street (and liquor store) and a Waffle House in the front parking lot.

Stopped her with my elderly mother who is in a wheelchair. Staff offered me to view the room prior to booking. Very accommodating and helpful. Great experience would stay again.

This is a sad story. We stayed there last night and it was not good. AC unit was super loud, like trying to sleep next to an idling diesel truck. The tiny towels were like sandpaper, but get this. The bathroom door wouldn't close. It hit the light fixture on the ceiling and the toilet. We were tired from driving down from Nova Scotia but I would never return to this place again. Spend the extra couple bucks to get a real hotel for your trip and give this place a pass!!!

Great area and safe to stay at. On my travels for work I have stayed at some really scary hotels and this place was awesome. And the desk lady really helped us we even got free coffee lol . I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others. Thank you red roof and god bless you and your workers.

The room was clean, which is most important.  Did not like the parking lot being located across the field from the room.  Would prefer to have a walkway to the rooms since the building is L-shaped.  There is parking near the Waffle House, but there is only a long stairway with no ramp.  There are no wireless repeaters, so the internet was not good for rooms further from lobby.  Internet was better outside than inside.  There are also no outdoor trash cans.  As I walked up to the door of my room, there were small bags of trash in front of my door.
