Jellystone Park™ Williamsport

We stayed here for several days in July. The site was nice and flat, large enough for a big tent. Water and electric were conveniently located. The private bathrooms/showers looked like they were recently renovated, but in the sweltering summer heat they had very little air circulation and felt like humid steam room hot boxes. The waterpark was fun but they were only running one slide at a time, which made for a long line. Most of the interactive features of the lazy river were disabled, but the giant water cannon was so cool. The splash pad section is VERY cool. Some of the lifeguards had a bad attitude and were quite rude. The activities and crafts, character meet ups, tractor ride and laser tag were fun. Most of the staff were very friendly. This is our 21st year at this campground and it looks the best it has ever looked. The ground maintenance and addition of fall plants brings the fall colors out. Staff is incredibly helpful and responsive. Shower facilities are spotless.

Stayed at this campground for 2 days. My stupidity, cabin, and golf cart. $1000.00. They closed the pool so the lifeguard could take a break and lunch. 1 lifeguard! 98 degrees outside. Air conditioner in our cabin would not begin to cool our room. Said something to the main office and all I got was an "Oh well". They might as well close the snack bar, nothing in it. Staff was either not educated or just didn't care. Everywhere we went on the grounds the people were buzzing with their complaints and like us, stating we will NEVER return.

The location of the campground was great! Our family enjoyed the water park and cruising around the grounds on a golf cart. We arrived on firework night, and it was a great show! A major setback to our experience was the cabin. The mattress that was in the main room was so uncomfortable. You could feel every spring and the mattress was sunken in a good amount. My husband and I woke in pain throughout each night. The bathroom was another issue. While I understand this is camping, I don't think the bathroom floor Should have black mold. We felt it necessary to cover our feet while indoors, otherwise the bottom of our feet would be disgusting. Upon reaching out after our visit, the campground wasn't much help. They apologized, however, offered no compensation.

We love visiting for Labor Day Weekend. We really appreciate the young people who make all of the activities happen from daily crafts to nighttime karaoke. They are organized, kind, and attentive. The character moments are cherished. We particularly like the pledge and stretches with a bear. The only low point this time around was the very dirty microwave and debris on mattresses. We cleaned up these spots and kept on with the fun.
