Beautiful area. Absolutely stunning. It’s great. They have this location near the scenic Drive. The campground is OK. Would be nice if they had at least water or power. Or bath houses if they have neither and a dump station. But nothing basically better a parking spot. If you’re over 30 feet most of the sites will be challenging here. The Campos do a great job of keeping things tidy. Easy in and out. Most of the sites are not level though just FYI. There are a lot of restrooms here!

Lovely little spot to camp super close to Red Rocks! We were here to climb and had super close access to the park. We camped in the walk in spots which were well taken care of and felt nice and quiet despite how open the desert can feel. It was super close to the city for accessibility for getting food but just far enough to where you can’t see or hear the city so you feel surprisingly remote.

Great camping close to red rock canyon and Las Vegas. Primitive. Secluded. Lots of wildlife visitors while we stayed.

Its ok for a campground not much of a view, campsites too close together for my taste. The restrooms are very well maintained and are located nearby for all standard sites. These sites come with table and benches, fire pit, BBQ grill, and overhead cover. The economy sites are less expensive but the campers are on top of each other, also its a long walk to the sites. Access to restrooms but its a trek. Lastly I would have hated it a little better if there was some good hiking around it, with scenic views, it would not take long for you to get bored with it and......flat, plain, dessert. It does at times beco.e very windy here and cold. Hope you have a good tent, and a way to heat up the area.

This was a well kept, clean campground with fairly basic resources (I stayed at the walk to campsite). The campground does have relatively clean, well-maintained bathrooms. Note, if you're coming in at night for the first time, have your destination set to the parking lot/ bathrooms closest to the walk-to sites/ your site. Otherwise, the GPS may try to take you to a site on the other side of the road.
