Had an awesome weekend staying at "Among The Wild Things" cabin! This place has everything you need for a comfortable getaway. Hot tub, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and a private deck. There's even a loft space with a foosball table and a tv, which would be great if you were traveling with kids. If it was warmer, we definitely would have taken advantage of the fire pit! We spent the weekend hiking, kayaking and relaxing at the cabin. Only complaint is the weekend went by too fast. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Moonlight Ridge cabin. We always check the hot tub when we arrive. It looked cloudy so we asked if it could be drained. The maintenance guy came the next morning and drained it. It took about 9 hours to heat to 101. The view was very nice, and we liked the layout. There's a great lookout at the end of the road. The cabin was clean but the shag rugs were not. There were stains on the one in the living room, and it appeared those rugs were not vacuumed. I don't think the floors were mopped because our socks were dirty from walking around. It would have been nice to have a broom handy. Bring extra towels for the hot tub as the instructions include. There are only 8 towels total so we were washing towels often just for showering. And bring laundry soap! Town is about 20 minutes aw

We rented Cuckoo’s Nest the weekend after Christmas to spend time with our adult children. We planned to do all of our cooking in the cabin, so we brought enough food for 8 people for 3 nights. The cabin we selected had an upgraded kitchen with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, and an open floor plan, which was important for our plans. When we arrived, we had to carry all of our food and belongings up what felt like 75 very steep steps with no lighting. While this wasn’t a dealbreaker on its own, it became a major issue shortly after arrival as we had to carry it all back to the car in the dark. Around 11:00 PM on Friday night, as we were preparing for bed, we discovered mouse droppings in every single bed. We immediately called the emergency number. Fortunately, one of our children was

One Star – Serious Safety, Cleanliness, and Maintenance Issues I’m extremely disappointed with our stay at The Gathering House and feel compelled to warn future guests. Throughout the cabin, there were well over a hundred dead and live bugs, including numerous wasps—one of which actually stung my foot inside the house. This alone made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable for the entirety of our stay. The heating system struggled to keep up with the cold outdoor temperatures, and the fireplace repeatedly shut off, leaving the cabin uncomfortably cold. The hot tub was essentially unusable: the jets did not work, the water level was very low, and it would randomly squirt water directly at your face because the waterline was below the jets. The jets would occasionally flicker on for a couple of

My family and I stayed at the waterfall wonders cabin the weekend after Christmas. I emailed the host with issues, but got no response. The cabin is in a really beautiful location, but unfortunately the cabin itself is pretty bad. Both bathroom ceilings and walls were absolutely covered in black mold. When the cabin was built, thy did not install exhaust fans, so moisture from showers has nowhere to go. The second issue was ALL THE MICE. We saw them several times DURING THE DAY while we were there. There are plug in ultrasonic pest repellers plugged in all over the cabin, but obviously not working. The cabin appears to be infested with mice. Would love to have had a chance to discuss the issues, but like I said, noone responded to my email. For $400 a night, we were very disappointed i
