Red Mountain Alpine Lodge

We came back again here (wrote a review about our trip last year), and another fantastic time. The staff, the owners are just about as good as it gets - and the food is the same way :-). Fantastic attention to details, things like more hooks for hanging clothes, etc - they keep improving the experience and listening to customers. Can't say enough nice things about the experience. Some incredible cross country ski terrain and unbelievable views. The Lodge was just mentioned in the WSJ so I expect their bookings to increase dramatically! We are going back for sure.

My husband and I got married here this past July and it was absolutely perfect. The lodge is a gorgeous building in the beautiful mountains just south of Ouray. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. The food was incredible. All 12 of us fit comfortably with room to spare. We can’t wait to go back and make more memories at this place that is now so special to our hearts.

Where do I even begin?? We stayed here as part of a hut to hut running trip, and it was perfect in every way. The food was great. The place is beautiful and very spacious (although we were lucky to have it to ourselves). But the best part was the host, Marya, who was phenomenal. It was a pleasure getting to know her and she took great care to make sure everything was great. 11/10 would recommend. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

The moment our party of 17 entered the Lodge, we were treated like family. The San Juan Mountain guides kept our group safe and treated us to amazing and memorable tours 3 days in a row. Our host, Andrea, was so friendly and fun to be around. She treated us as if we where her family. Aaron and Selene served the most amazing breakfasts, afternoon soup, and dinners. There was ample selection of high quality beverages as well. Hot showers, comfortable beds, and open seating made for a very comfortable and relaxing experience. Our group can't wait to return to Red Mountain Lodge!!!

We had our wedding at the Lodge two weeks ago. What an Magical place! Whether you go for an event or just a weekend getaway, you will not be disappointed. The location is incredibly easy to access. The people who work there are wonderful. The owner sets a precedent for quality people that truly can’t be beat. Her personal touch radiates through the entire staff, making you feel like you are visiting family. The food and wine list are fantastic. The accommodations are not just comfortable, they are beautifully thought out. And, of course, the backdrop of our beautiful Colorado mountains is magical. The Lodge is a first class operation. I almost hate to recommend it, because it won’t take long before they are so booked up we won’t be able to get a reservation! It is truly that special.
