Red Lake Ice Cabins

I will says this the cabin was nice. Other than that the weekend we spent here was a waste of time and money. The first night our propane ran out. I woke up at 3 am to the shack at 40°. It took them an hour to get full tanks out and hooked up. Is all we got from them was "oops". We caught 5 fish over 3 days. They didn't offer to move us. The website says they move them every couple of days. Our shack wasn't moved all we. A group of guys was there during the week in that same spot. Then tell us in the morning they are closing the ice road cause of weather at 1 or 2 pm. When I looked at my weather app. No snow and wind until 11pm. I'm not sure who checks the weather at this place they got it way wrong. Must have been looking at the report with their eyes shut. I have been going to Minnesota

Best trip this year!! Tony helps get us into a good spot. As we left this last week the ice castle had problems, Troy came over. He was a big help. This weekend was our 4th weekend out in a row. This is our 3rd year being season pass holders. The ice roads are the best I've been on well maintained. With an ice castle as big as mine is safety is key and these guys got it. Always checking in on us. And the big bonus kid friendly, always greeting the boys answering the 101 questions. Asking how our weekend was. All around great guys there can't wait to go back next weekend.

Pictures show nice clean ice castles. When we arrived it was obvious these pictures are from when the ice castles were new. We experienced a filthy, smelly ice castle with cabinet doors missing, handles falling off, doors not sealing and just over all lack of any upkeep or cleaning period. I have to reiterate how filthy this place was. The amount of garbage from previous customers is alarming. Over the course of three days no one checked in to see how we were doing. Instead of staying the remaining two nights we had payed for we just left and went to another lake.

Great people. Great place. We caught a bunch of nice Walleye. Fantastic sunsets, and sunrises. We will definitely be back. The ice castle fish houses were perfect for us.

Came out to meet a buddie caught some nice walleye for the night bite , nice fish house very cheap and affordable and kid friendly ROkU tvs an bunks if your looking for a good place to enjoy some good fishing an comfy houses this is the place !
