Customer Reviews
A place to sleep after a long day of travel. We had tried dozens of places and all were sold out. I would stay again if I had to but the rooms are not kept up. Paint and wallpaper peeling. And it was still over $100!
My friend and I had a room booked at the local Holiday Inn. Once we heard there was a Red Carpet Inn in town, we canceled and ate the security deposit just to have the opportunity, nay, the privilege of staying at the Red Carpet Inn. |It’s no understatement to say we were treated like celebrities upon arrival. The nice man behind the counter even asked for my autograph on a small piece of paper after I swiped my credit card. It really felt like we were being swarmed with paparazzi which tuckered us out so we made our way to our room. |Upon entering, it was like I had just entered into a movie. The smell of cigarette smoke and the sound of domestic violence elsewhere in the hotel was the perfect touch of immersion to add to the red carpet experience. Move over universal studios, there’s a n
No toilet paper. Paint spots all over both rooms that I checked into. I had to leave the first one because the heat was not working. In the middle of the night somebody was trying to get into my place because the clerk told them the room was available. He was very slow and incompetent. TV does not work. No signal. My floor had not been swept, and there were lots of metal shavings on it. Their painter did a poor job of cleaning up after himself and removing spots on things.
Ok i slept well and it was quiet. Its not the Ritz-Hilton for sure but there is a McDonald’s and a quick fill within walking distance. The woman at the desk made me a fresh pot of coffee in the morning. It’s an older place but they are keeping it going but I lived in cabins in Maine and Canada too so I’m used to roughing it.The A.C worked well and yes it was clean and no odors like a lot of even more expensive hotels have. I enjoyed my stay here. And it was not expensive. The bed was clean and comfortable.Toilet and shower worked.A deal for $50 And you have a private entrance to every room if you wanted to stay longer. She just told me $900 a month.yeah
85 bucks to watch the place deteriorate and crumble. No visible maintenance in years. No layers of paint tells me enough. Air conditioner unable to cool the room until after sunset. Nice hot water. No bugs. Great mattress. Good pillows.
