Rays Camp Ground

Nice small and friendly campground. We booked an electric site for our travel trailer. Nice sites which are well spaced. Wood on site. Nice distance to national park. Doesnt have a dump station, but there are free ones nearby such as Battle Run Campground

Campground was clean and quiet. They only have 5 sites with power, and no water hookups, but they are all close to the bathhouse, so it was not a problem at all. Sites are roomy and very comfortable. The weekend got crazy because of bridge day, but even then it was quiet and comfortable. Jake and Kat are great hosts, and very accommodating

Had a great time tent camping here over a weekend while I was visiting New River Gorge and the surrounding state parks. I'll probably stay here again if I visit the area in the future. The facilities are quite good for the price. The showers with hot water are nice, and the "camp office" is a great place to hang out and do group activities. I can highly recommend this campground.

Guys if you read a negative review here, please understand it’s the reviewer not the site. Stayed here 5 or 6 times and it’s the only place we will stay at. Amazing hosts and a great environment. They truly are people first and do whatever they can to make it a perfect stay for everyone. Thanks and see you soon!

Best place to camp around NRG. Great camp sites, free amenities, and the friendliest employees. Right in the middle of NRG and Summersville makes this the best location for camping for all the activities in the area.
