Not the best site in the park. Overall was pretty quiet even though it is close to the road to the trailhead. There is a water trough near by that did seem to bring flies when the food came out. Also Border Patrol made a drive by in the evening. Decent views but doesn't really compare to other sites.
Easy hike for kids… we didn’t encounter a soul… beautiful desert silence and the occasional bird filled our ears… it gives a whole new meaning to the expression peace and quiet… (all dirt roads to get here, like everywhere else in this lovely state park)
decent site with plenty trails and good south to west views
Nice campground sheltered from the wind. The windmill makes some noise if it is breezy, it is sort of relaxing. I was able to get service here with T-Mobile data roaming turned on.
