Super fun place to kayak and picnic. We went on Monday morning. At 9 am there was one other car in our picnic area. We had the only boats out on the water. It was calm, pleasant and beautiful.
Beautiful day to visit this beautiful mountain reservoir. Not too crowded and the water was nice and calm. Nice cool weather made me forget to reapply sun block, now I have sun burnt knees!! ☹️ Other than that, not a single complaint.
What a great day! Trying out the new paddle board, again... $10 to get up here... and the dam gates close at 5, so don't get locked in... found a cozy little cove to sit in... the people up on the rock were having a great time fishing... seen them catch 5... bald eagles flying around... the lake is perfect for paddle boarding... the only negative part was the people just inviting themselves and their kids to impose on your quiet spot... not caring that they are loud and in the middle of where people are throwing their lines out for fishing... bring your family to enjoy the day, but please don't ruin everyone else's
Beautiful with plenty of trees. Nice coves for fishing. Dirt road can be rough though.
$10 to get in, but it’s such a pretty spot to fish, kayak, or paddle board!!
