Lone Duck Campground

I would not stay here again. The spots are so tight you're right on top of each other. Spots are also very tiny in general. We were sitting around the fire just talking (we had a bigger group that took up 3 spots - 15 people in total 9 or which were kids all ages). They felt the need to remind us 40 minutes before quiet time about quiet time - we were already working on it - I don't need mommed while I'm camping. We had the kids in bed and asleep by 10pm while we sat around the fire chatting until around midnight. The next morning we got told we were way too loud disrupting the campsite and "partying" - that's hilarious to me because we are not a partying group nor did we do anything other than sit around the fire and talk. The name says it all. This is a campground. Do not expect level sites or paved parking. Everyone had a great time. Awesome service and more than adequate facilities. The pool was clean, maintained several times a day, and very popular with the kids. Also the playground with swings and large wooden structure was always busy. There also is an outdoor dish washing station. The store was well stocked with reasonable prices given the location. If you like a rustic environment with city amenities you will love Lone Duck Camoground.

From the time we walked in to check-in, the ultimate hospitality! It doesn’t matter who is working the desk…these people want you to have the very best experience possible. The cleanest showers/bathrooms. Best camp spots! If you want to camp in the woods but still have amenities, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Each spot is nestled into its own little environment. A creek runs beside it. The sound is therapeutic! ||The people…wow. I’m. It sure where to start. We had camp trailer difficult from the initial set up. Pop up camper cable broke. Went back to office, they set us up in a cozy cabin, it was pre booked after 2 nights. They set us up with a tent spot AND a tent. Jamie is the jam!! All staff were so nice and helpful. This campground was super clean and well maintained. The staff was quite lovely. Thanks for making our last night of vacation such a great time. If you are looking for clean restrooms, and good sites for camper vans, this is your place.

My sister and I spent 3 nights and were incredibly satisfied with the service, location, and amenities. We had reserved a tent spot, but when the weather turned colder and rainy, they easily switched us to a cabin for the final 2 nights. Every employee we spoke with was friendly and professional!
