Ramblin' Rose RV Park

I'm not sure how much of a "park" this is, but more of a big grassy lot with a bunch of RV hookups. Regardless, it is a small, very quiet spot, near the edge town to park and rest for the night. The park and surrounding areas are clean and feel safe. There is a laundry room with 3 sets of machines, 1 was broke during our stay, with restrooms around back. The inn keeper, I spoke to on the phone, was very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable.

Traveling with an RV and just needed a couple of nights. One was too many. One would have to consider their location but still......none of the sites were properly maintained or marked. Just pick one and hope everything works. Looked like any maintenance for water, sewer or power was non-exsistent. Very disappointed in our visit but like I said, look where you're at.

We stayed two nights as a stopover on a long trip between IL AND New Mexico. The owners were very quick to respond to texts and calls and were very nice. RV park was clean and everything worked as expected. It’s a little close to the highway so we heard a little traffic but ran a fan and were able to sleep fine. Had a good hamburger within walking distance. Highly recommend this RV park.

Nice owners, older facilities...no pool or fitness room. This is a basic park in a small, one-stoplight town that offers you a quiet place to park your RV with full hook-ups while you explore the area. Can't comment on the bath house as we use the shower in our coach. The laundry room was okay, but there was no a/c the day we used it. We had great water pressure and 50 amp service, plus a sewer. Since we were busy exploring, we basically spent the nights in our coach and were quite comfortable. The rates are reasonable. Don't come here expecting a 5-star resort. Expect a quiet place to park your RV in a friendly small town. Big rigs will have no problem pulling in or out. My only complaint was the neighbor who allowed her dog to do its business and then didn't clean up after it.

Stopped with our 39', no problem getting into spots. There is a dump tank as you come into the park if you need one. Co-op in town had propane fills. We stayed here for three nights due to weather but enjoyed our stay. Owner is very friendly and park is quiet. Minimal traffic or train noise. Reasonable $25 for 30 amp and grassy areas. We will be staying here again as we pass through!
