Ramada by Wyndham Platte City KCI Airport

The atmosphere and staff were most pleasant. The amenities were very nice - a very pleasant pool/hot tub area and nice fitness center. I was a quiet family atmosphere hotel with easy parking and the hotel appeared to be clean. This hotel was reasonable priced. The rooms were spacious and had anything that a traveler might need including USB charging ports. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Sadly, our room (not the entire hotel) had an overpowering, obnoxious odor that my adult daughter described as a "wet, musty, dog". I had hoped that turning on the air unit would help as I initially thought it was just stale air. That did not help. All surfaces of the room and bathroom appeared clean and there was no trash in the receptacles. But there was a stench - enough

The hotel was basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable for a good night's rest. Breakfast in the morning was good with variety of options. We did arrive late for check-in and was initially given a key to an already occupied room. The attendant apoligized for the mistake and reassigned another room. Overall, it was a straightforward stay with clean rooms and a decent breakfast.

I normally take a bunch of pictures and maybe some videos, but my stay was very short and relaxing and I didn't really want to take the time to do that on this trip, lol... The hot tub was very hot and relaxing and very nice before taking a shower and getting a good night's rest! It was very quiet in my room and very comfortable and clean and I was able to get a very good night's rest and started my day refreshed and happy, which I am very pleased with! On my way out in the morning breakfast was being served but I already had leftovers from dinner that I was able to enjoy with some delicious apple juice from the breakfast area and I was able to check out quickly and get back on the road. I definitely recommend staying here regardless of how you get your room, but I definitely recommend boo

Positive: Location.? nice areas to go walking. Restaurants close to hotel. Waffles were great. Vanilla creamer for coffee was nice. Breakfast always had fresh fruit. Negative: Breakfast didn?t have protein selection during week. Didn?t like large tub of butter available to all. Better to have single serve butter. TV cable wasn?t working from midday to next morning. No extra towels available. All towels were being washed.

The hotel could have been nice the room was clean and comfortable, but nothing worked. The internet, tv, phone, heating, hairdryer and keys all had issues. Staff didn’t care annd did absolutely nothing to even attempt to resolve any issues. Breakfast ended early and we missed it. I will never stay here again.
