Ramada by Wyndham Odessa Near University of Texas Permian

For what you pay i think its great. As for the area its not bad, close to other hotels too, you have the option to have your room inside or connected outdoors. The walls are quite thin though, thin enough i heard my neighbor coughing lol. Beds are clean, checked the mattress as well and it passed.They have an indian restaurant inside, only had the samosas and mango lassi but they were good! As for breakfast they had a good variety, cereal, waffles, yogurt, bagels, and egg or sausage. They had OJ or apple juice or coffee for drinks. For one night my experience wasnt bad.

I’ve been staying at the Ramada for months if not years and every time I see some improvements being made their customer service their rooms. Everything is jitu the new guy is very very good at what he does and he handles customer service very well. I have never even looked at other hotels, that’s how comfortable I am at this place. Changed the entire carpet in the public areas interior it’s looking really good.

Positive: Staff nice. Location and price great. Free adequate breakfast. Bed comfy. Negative: This hotel would be absolutely excellent if they worked on cleanliness. Pool area dirty, my bathroom not very clean (hair around toilet and tub, dirt /scum on floor around toilet, ). Stains on sheets. Lobby tables dirty. Smells like Pot in many areas.

Nothing good to say about this place. The guy at the front desk took advantage of our young daughter when she was in a vanerable state and changed she 200$ for a second night when she was not in her right mind. He refused to call us when I left direct instructions not to ask her about money. She panicked and paid him when he threatened to kick her and the baby out with no where to go and never called me. I told him I had a church member that could come get her and he said she was fine to stay. The room is terrible for the price. Very little furniture everything is old, tv remote doesn't work, they're are no channels working when you can get the TV on, so there is no point to the tv in the living room. This motel seems to be recently purchased by some new owners. They are renovating the entire thing which is great! It definitely needed the renovation! And once its done they should defintely charge more it really a great motel but if they do that they really need more staff!! Its very clear these new owners seem to be trying to save on labor or something bc for such a big motel very few workers and not only that only 1 front person who was hardly there bc he had to be helping doing othe things and then guess what same person who probably got the breakfast ready as well with no help! Impressive but not sustainable! It can be a really great motel with proper staffing and proper management.
