Ramada by Wyndham Kingman

Cute small hotel that looks like it has been recently renovated. My room was clean and pretty comfortable — perfect for a one-night stay before continuing my trip. The only downside was the breakfast. It felt very limited, like portions were being controlled. The fridge was mostly empty, the coffee was very watery, and there were only a few bananas available. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience could definitely be improved.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise on arrival. The grounds and beautiful murals provided a great first impression. The pre-checkin was convenient, the staff was friendly throughout the facility and the hot breakfast provided a variety of food.

Positive: Check-in was smooth, friendly and efficient. Parking was ample. Free hot breakfast was greatly appreciated. The attached bar/restaurant was convenient, the food was good, and the service was outstanding. Negative: The guest room was older, but perfectly adequate. A tall man would probably feel cramped in the shower, but I'm short so it was fine. The breakfast room was crowded, though it looked like there was overflow seating available in the bar/restaurant.

Everything was AWESOME! Rooms were clean & bed was very comfortable. Except...breakfast...no waffle batter, warm milk, 1 juice selection. Had to ask for more of the warm food. Bread for toast ran out so I got some out of the cupboard below. They really ought to have someone separate than the front desk person taking care of the breakfast. *If you are a light sleeper this is not the motel for you. The train runs by quite often through the night.

Great staff. Very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The metal wrap around frame underneath the beds is loud whenever it is tapped with your foot, which is often because it's not very far under the bed. But the beds were decently comfy. Breakfast was okay. They really need more options though including a toaster and extra waffle maker. The shutters in the room look nice but aren't blackout curtains. I'm used to complete darkness and that wasn't the case at night in the room.
