Rainbow Inn - Carrizozo

Close to the project I was working. WiFi in every room, easy access to the room. Rafael the manager is the shining star of this property. Quick to address any problems you might have, also a man of his word. Would stay again should the need arise.

The building is old and there was definitely some wear and tear but the bathroom looked recently remodeled. The room was spacious and had a table and chairs. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Overall great value for the price. The Four Winds Restaurant next door is fantastic, increasing the value of the hotel because am excellent dinner is across the parking lot

It was a reasonable place, but the following is why I will not stay there again: 1. The office was never open. You had to go across the street to a different motel for help. 2. I may be old school, but I figure if you stay for multiple days that housekeeping would change the towels, empty the trash, and replenish the toilet paper and tissues. There was no housekeeping. I had to go across the street for toilet paper and take the trash to the receptacle. The rub is they left an envelope in the room for you to leave a tip for housekeeping. 3. The security lights were turned off at 3 am leaving your car in a dark lot. 4. The bathroom sink leaked. The one saving thing is they had excellent hot water!!

We stayed here during Memorial weekend for 4 nights. Our room was recently renovated with a lovely bathroom. We LOVED the shower. The beds in our double room were very comfortable. The room had zero smells. All rooms are nonsmoking. The fridge was clean and cold when we arrived. This motel doesn't have a pool. Restaurants in the area are closed a few days a week. But the convenience store Allsups will cook food most of the day, and the fried burritos were very good and affordable. Our room was $59 per night and was a great experience. Also, a motor cycle club checked in our last night. We never heard anything. Not an engine. To silence. Would visit again.

This was my first time staying here. Normally, I stay at the Carrizozo Inn across the street under same management and same owner. Personally I don't think the rooms are quite as nice at the Rainbow Inn and I do across the street but they are nice. They are comfortable. You still great awesome and friendly service Both (obviously) are conveniently located to gas stations, convince stores, activities, highway, places to eat, etc Very quiet even at the busy points of the day. Very peaceful. Very enjoyable. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the area. I'll happily be a regular probably more so at the Carrizozo Inn but would be just as happy at the Rainbow Inn
