The room was clean to the point you could tell it's personally taken care of with a sense of pride. The bed is comfy and the TV is good. There's a good place to eat a stones throw away. Plus I thought it was very cute the peppermint hand soap matched the season. The lady of the establishment is who saved the service part, she was nice and polite to my husband.

We are just pulling out of Carrizozo and I wanted to post our experience. After driving 12 hours, this was a much needed stop for a good nights sleep in room #8. The hospitality was amazing and it was nice to visit and talk plants and exchange laughs and conversation with a friendly face! The plants in the office made me feel right at home, as I have most of the same ones back home, his wife has great taste and they have done a good job on the bathroom remodels and the rooms were cozy, nothing fancy, but they were perfect. If you want to swim and be bougie this is not your place. But, if you are looking for a comfy, quiet, safe, off the beaten path stay that feels authentic and you’re not just another number: 500,000 of a “valued member” then this is your place! Not very many places for my service dog to use the bathroom but other than that my stay was great. Owner was helpful and very sweet. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Will stay again in the future.
