Radisson Hotel Louisville North

This is a great place to stay while there are parts being renovated, it does take time to do it right. |The rooms are always clean, the beds are always made. |The Mediterranean theme of the indoor patio, pool and gym is a lovely touch and I hope they stay that way. |The restaurant bar and grill food is good for a more than reasonable cost. |The bar is always a great little place to play pool or do karaoke.|The lakeside view from the rooms makes for excellent photography. |I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always a great experience, every staff member from the hotel manager, reception, house keeping, restaurant, bar, and maintenance work hard day and night to keep this over 300 room complex running well and they do an excellent job. I am always greeted warmly, treated well

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are extremely outdated and paint was chipping everywhere. A friend of mine's room even smelt like cigarette smoke. Our room keycards didn't work, and they claimed it was because "we held them too close to our phone." I have never had this problem at any hotel before. The lobby was extremely hot, I was sweating wearing short sleeves, and the staff was extremely rude. Our ice bucket was moldy, and I woke up with bites (not sure if bedbugs or a spider) all over my hand. This place has so much potential with its amenities, however, everything else is extremely poorly executed.

We only stayed an hour at this place because it wasn't at all what we expected. Thankfully we got refunded for the room. The photos of the place don't represent what it really looks like. The lobby and people at the front desk were nice but that's where it stopped. The room and hallways were dirty, TV and phone didn't work, and shower leaked. It's an older hotel so we didn't expect the best, but definitely was hoping for better quality.

You get what you pay for. Its an old hotel thats in desperate need of a renovation or removal. Rooms are dingy and AC system couldn't be louder. It has a moldy smell. Bathroom showed signs of wear. If you have alternative options. I would look elsewhere. This is coming from Diamond status on both Hilton and Marriott. Last minute business trip and most everything else was booked up. Sorry Radisson but this one does not meet your historical standards.

So there were a couple different factors. The night we checked in there was no prior notification that they had issues with housekeeping meaning check in would be delayed, and that it would be over 40 minutes standing in line to check in, I am a disabled veteran, my back and knees were killing me by the time I finally got to the counter to check in. There were at least 15 people in front of me. AN email to give a heads up, or a phone call to say we could leave our number and they would call when the room was available would have been much better. In addition your waiting right by the pool area where the smell of the chlorine is very strong which effects my asthma. There was only 1 cart ofr bringing in luggage of which it was not available at all when i needed it, the hotel is very large. T
