Candlewood Suites Louisville North by IHG

Diamond member, booked well ahead of time and upon arrival found out they had given somebody else our rooms. The night guy found us a smaller room and promised to talk to them about getting us in the right ones for the additional nights. I checked online and the rooms we booked were available the next day so when I returned from our convention, I expected to be able to move, but no luck. The next morning I asked if we could have the room serviced with at least fresh towels. We returned the next afternoon and nothing had been done. In addition, while I know there isn’t any breakfast, the pantry was out of everything popular the entire time we were there. The overall impression of the staff is they really don’t care if you have a good experience or not.

Check in was super easy. Room was clean and spacious. Marking at the front desk made fresh baked cookies for us! Our dog loved the room, too.

Stayed in the Candlewood Suites the night before the Brooks and Dunn concert. The room was quite nice and very clean. The staff was very pleasant and professional. There was a little bit of noise but nothing terrible, a few people were staying there for their work and were in and out quite a bit. No complaints, but two small suggestions for improvement would be that our bed was just a little bit lumpy. We did sleep well though; and have a way to put the lights in bathrooms on separate switches. Very bright lights in bathrooms, which is great when you want and need the light, but not so much in the middle of the night, and you have to use the bathroom. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely stay there when we return to Louisville. Bret & Kathy B

Hotel smelled and looked worn. They do have washer and dryers available for guest to use for free, just bring your laundry soap. Back patio area needed cleaned up. Back door would not work with key card, we were told the lock has been broken for awhile which makes it an inconvenience for guests to come and go. The room was ok. The bed was not very comfortable. There is no breakfast available however this hotel is located close to many restaurants and stores. The staff, mainly Devion, was very friendly and helpful!

I stayed in the Candlewood Suites from the 5th-8th, and all i Can say about my Stay/experience is it was absolutely Amazing, from the Moment I Arrived in was Greeted by the most beautiful smile of the young lady who worked behind the counter (Chrystal) and Mr. Donovan who both individuals went above and behind as they provided great customer service to, for me, and because of that, that's the reason I'm gonna stay there when I come in town moving forward.
