Radisson Hotel Freehold

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Zach (great front desk guy) tried.. he really did..to make a bad situation better.. but there was no saving our hotel stay. We were booked for 7 and left after 1. First room was dirty, bed had hair and questionable bodily fluids on the sheets and no hot water. Second room while cleaner.. had no hot water and noisy neighbors you could hear. A/C unit was still a wall unit you had to manually set and it made noise all night. Tv was old, no smart capabilities..thats okay I can use my phone… but the WiFi was not working… terrible, dated and the general manager wasn’t even available to answer concerns.

My family lives nearby and I have stayed here about 20 times the past few years. When my daughter got married locally, I even reserved a large block of rooms. I’ve noticed the past couple of stays that the hotel is appearing “aged”. I had a two night stay 12/25-27. It was the worse stay ever. Their boiler was broken, so there was no hot water. Desperate for a shower I tried a cold shower but I was quickly standing in dirty water as the drain wasn’t draining properly. On top of that their internet was out the entire stay. I called and left a message with the operators manager asking how they are going to convince me to comeback. As of this writing, I have not received a call back. This hotel is going down quickly. I would not recommend it.

We found a live spider in our bed after getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night as well as a large brown/red stain that was 100% not us. There was also no hot water for the entirety of our two night stay. The staff I could tell felt bad about the situation but it was not ideal. Oh and we found a bug crusted into the picture frame of art in the room. I’ve stayed here before but the cleanliness has gone downhill

We reserved a King Suite with Raddison in Freehold on June 23 with confirmation email of our booking received. 36 hours before we were due to check in, the hotel in Freehold called and and left a voicemail that they had to cancel our reservation due to a “military booking” for the Joint Base. We were attending a wedding and our family and friends had many rooms reserved for that weekend.|When they called, they said we could book a room at their “sister” hotel 25 minutes away. When we called back we asked why they didn’t just move the “military booking” to their sister hotel in the first place, since it was closer to the base. We stayed here overnight to attend a wedding at the Paterson Barn. I don't understand what the bad input is from; we had a great experience. We stayed on the 2nd floor, mother stayed on the 1st for ADA assistance in the bathroom. The room, hallways, Lobby and restaurant were clean. Kudos to Logan for a very polite and easy check-in, and Zach who reconfirmed our stay beforehand AND who also assisted in the nice little restaurant for breakfast - Zach is the epitome of customer service. He wore a few 'hats' during the time we were there, but he's also very polite and helpful. This location is close to a few restaurants nearby, and was easily accessed to the wedding venue. The hotel also provided transportation, which was nice.
