Quincy Feather Bed Inn

Great getaway...3 day-2 night holiday. Well run- no meet service, great value...we stayed in one of the cabins...toasty warm on cold nights, comfortable bed, has microwave and small fridge, picnic basket loaner, coffee service and fabulous pressure-clawfoot tub shower 🛁. Great stay for ev owners...new hookups ev charger 2 blocks away, great restaurants 3 bocks away and nice museum 1 block away.

Clean, nicely appointed, comfortable bed and amenities. We stayed on a Tuesday and Wednesday night just after the Memorial Day weekend opening. Our cottage was on the street and very quiet. My husband brought back breakfast sandwiches from a nearby bakery and I made the coffee and tea which we enjoyed on the small patio just off our room one morning. Sweet Lorraines just down the block was open for dinner. Service was friendly and slow, but food was great! There were just enough services open...gas, bathrooms, trails, even a few gift shops (in Chester) to make the trip interesting and comfortable. There were people out and about, but we felt like we had this beautiful area almost to ourselves. Our hostess, Shelley, was warm and friendly but not intrusive. Great getaway!

A beautiful location, a cozy and comfortable room that was charmingly decorated. Very spacious shower and oh my the bed was so inviting. 10 out of 10 will definitely stay again. We stayed in the Edward room and perhaps next year we'll try the cottage. I only wish we had planned for more time

We've stayed here twice—first in the Edwards room and more recently in the Hideaway Cottage. Both stays were fantastic! If you're looking for a simple, clean, and quiet retreat in Quincy, this is a perfect choice. It's just one block from Main Street, with easy access to pizza, a charming co-op market, great breakfast spots, and a fun dive bar—all within walking distance!

The best place to stay in town! If it makes sense for you, I would stay here over anywhere within an hours drive. It is a quaint, converted home, that is cozy and well cared for! The booklet they have in the room is full of neat information and hot spots around the area and in town; which is only a 5 minute walk from here! The rooms are clean, the staff is responsive and helpful, and it is in a great location whether you’re just visiting Quincy or all of Plumas county. HWY 70 and HWY 89 are immediately accessible. Very happy when I get to stay here!
