Lariat Lodge

Built in 1956, this retro 50's motel is clean and comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating staff, run by a husband and wife. We are in town for a motorcycle rally. Many of our attendees are staying at the Lariat Lodge.

I was happy with my decision to stay here. The room was inexpensive for the area. It was clean. Okay, I would have liked all those spots cleaned off the walls - but they weren't gross ones or anything. Bathroom was clean, small and an ugly pink, but I wasn't sleeping there. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows and nice soft sheets. The coffee was above par for motel room coffee. The air conditioner kept it comfortable all night. ||The carpet is made for heavy use, and obviously has had it. There were several burns, including one from an iron, but the rest may have been cigarettes - weird in a non-smoking room. Curtains were great at blocking outside light without the gaps that drive me crazy in expensive places. ||Bill was helpful and friendly, but not creepy or intrusive.

This is a small mom and pop shop motel. It is old but clean. There is a pool that could use some upgrades but was a hit with the kiddo. The towels are great but they do need new bedding and mattresses and pillows. The outside areas were clean and parking spots generous. Not a ton of options in Quincy so don't expect chain quality. But the staff was very nice. Bathroom was large and pretty modern.

My room at Lariat Lodge was far from fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The "queen" was actually a full sized bed, but I was too tired to go back to the office to ask for a bigger bed. Office person was friendly and helpful. No hair dryer in the room. I liked it better, and paid less for this room than other similar places in the area. I will stay there again!

This was a funky sort of place, a pink bathroom with no tub, just a shower. The hotel looked like it was built in the 50's. However, it was really clean. The bed was SUPER comfortable. The front desk staff, Bill, was really, really nice and friendly and even phoned the restaurant for me so they would stay open a bit late. I would definately stay again.
