Quality Inn Whiteville North

We’ve stayed in this hotel before, almost exactly 3 years ago. The same “we’re renovating” signs are everywhere. The hotel smells like smoke and musty air. No elevator. The doors don’t close without a shoulder check. Room was usable but not for $100 a night. It’s very outdated, poor paint jobs to cover up things. All of our lamp shades were crumpled, paint splatters on the bathroom floor, broken headboards and tv stands. The only reason we stay here is because it’s genuinely the only option besides the econo lodge. A new comfort inn with an elevator would close this place down. I hate that I have given this place my money twice.

Our company had 2 different crews staying here for several weeks. There were no complaints from any of them, and some compliments, i.e....nice clean hotel & good service. The front desk staff is awesome (special shout out to Tina! whom I worked with most). They were able to rearrange our reservations when the weather wouldn't allow us to work. As the person who makes the reservations, that made my life much easier. Definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay again when in the area.

Arrived on a Sunday in October for business. No frills hotel. This isn't necessarily a destination location, but this hotel gets the necessities done. Limited breakfast selection but you can find something (waffles, cereal, prepackaged biscuits, among others). Comfortable bed and quite honestly the best cable channels to offer (kinda old school with mid tier package, not a lot of unnecessary like HSN. Grocery, fast food, banking all very close by. 2 story, no elevator.

2nd floor exit has a broken door. Close to room 200. When someone enters or exit that door it automatically slams. Truly aggravating when you're trying to sleep. If I ever return to that hotel that's the first thing I would ask.

Pleasantly surprised. A little hesitant after reading the reviews. Our room was clean. Location quiet.
